Egypt Critical News Update #15-The Struggle is Just Begun!

Dear Friends and Comrades,

Let's indeed celebrate this moment. it was hard worked for and earned by the brave Egyptian people!

It's not over. After the well deserved party, once the emotions settle, many will go home satisfied with this initial, but by no means final victory. Others, are already planning to go on to the next battle to unseat the whole corrupt system. That fight will be as difficult as it is necessary.

The takeover of the process by the military remains an aberration to this movement and is of REAL concern to millions. No one in the movement wanted this army takeover at all, including the youth organizations and all the major opposition parties, no one. The only people who wanted this military coup, and who for weeks laid the groundwork for it, were the ruling oligarchy, the WB and IMF, that traitor ElBaradei, and the US and Israel.

Mubarak was canned and written off by the regime and the US more than a week ago. Now, these activists and revolutionaries, our brothers and sisters in struggle, will continue their struggle to secure the power FOR the people BY the people. The form of power necessary to steer a real just, revolutionary and democratic transition. I believe the people of Egypt, and all of you who have thus far expressed your solidarity, will see through this veil of deception of Empire and continue to support the Egyptian revolutionary forces.

While the attention of the world remains high, the army must we brought under direct control by a council composed of a broad base coalition of opposition forces, immediately! They can not be allowed to steer this process in any capacity for any period of time. They know nothing of democracy and remain loyal to the ruling oligarchy and US interests. They cannot be allowed to do anything except stay out of the people's way and await direction for how to carry out the arrest orders of traitors and murderers.

In Solidarity and Struggle,

Adrian Boutureira
