As had been long hoped for and expected in prior postings, in the early hours of this Friday morning, demonstrators were moving in mass into position around key government building and installations:
Parliament Building
Presidential Palace
State Television studios
State Radio Studios
An attempt at occupation of these buildings is imminent.
Army has announced it will soon issue an urgent communique...
Update-(army announces it will "step in" to safeguard the country...whatever that means.
Meanwhile,sell-out extraordinaire, ElBaradei, is directly calling for military intervention...that guy is an opportunistic traitor and needs to leave with Mubarak.
This is it.
The army's top brass is coming out of its closet. Ordering harassment, arrests, intimidation, tortures. The army's top brass in NOT neutral. It is a tool of the regime in the pay of Empire, and working in coordinated collaboration with the security forces.
A riff between mid ranking officers and the top leadership is emerging. There are reports of a Major and 15 other officers having gone over to the demonstrators. If this is true, and the trends continues, then the Venezuela anti coup army experience I mentioned in the prior blog, might indeed become a possibility!
