Raging Battles continue across Egypt

Author's Commentary:

I fear that these orchestrated attacks will serve to call in the army to bring order, an end to the violence and to put the army back into the drivers seat in the political process. The army leadership, which are all Mubarak's people, would really like to be in control of any political front that comes out of this uprising. Luckily, I don't think the Egyptian people will stand for it,

Al Jazeera correspondent, reporting from just off Tahrir Square reports that dozens of Mubarak supporters have erected barricades on either side of a road, trapping anti-government protesters. They are also gathering stones, breaking streetlights and putting on balaclavas, covering their faces, apparently in preparation for a fresh standoff with anti-government protesters. Sources tell that the men preparing for the standoff are police officers and police cars have been see dropping off molotov cocktails to pro Mubarak attackers.
1500 injured 3 deaths in clashes
Army stands by and is not intervening directly, but is being viewed as complicit with Mubarak's thugs to openly organize acts of violence against the demonstrators.

New vice president Omar Suleiman, the former foreign-intelligence chief with strong ties to the military and connected to the CIA special rendition program, says no dialogue until protests end-
